Hyderabad STF Seizes 7.795 kg Ganja in Multiple Raids

Hyderabad: TG excise special task force (STF) in separate incidents in the twin city seized 7.795 kg of ganja worth Rs 4 lakh in the vicinity of Ramachandrapuram and Kukatpally.

The STF seized 1.080 kg of ganja and Rs 7,100 cash in Kukatpally. The accused identified as Kishore Das from Malkangiri, Orissa, was caught while selling 6.715 kg of contraband in Ramachandrapuram. Kishore Das runs a fast food centre.

STF team head Pradeep Rao said that along with Kishore the team also arrested Ganesh Singh, who was found selling ganja in Ramachandrapuram circle. It was ascertained that Umesh Singh along with Ganesh Singh of the Jali Hanuman area of Dhoolpet were involved in peddling ganja, STF DSP Tirupati Yadav said. The police seized 1.080 kg of ganja from Ganesh Singh, he said.
