Hyderabad: A surprise inspection by GHMC officials at the APC Chicken Market in Esamia Bazaar and New Motinagar revealed severe hygiene violations, including foul smell, unclean surroundings, and non-compliance with quality standards. Officials expressed dissatisfaction over the poor enforcement of hygiene regulations.
The inspection was made after several complaints from residents nearby about the market’s unhygienic conditions and the unbearable stench affecting the surrounding area. Following the inspection, officials instructed the GHMC staff to seize the market immediately. They also directed entomology and sanitation teams to clean the area thoroughly and conduct fogging operations.
