Karimnagar:Union minister and BJP national general secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday attacked the Congress government for not demolishing BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao’s farmhouse in Janwada,

Why did it shy away when MIM leader Akbaruddin threatened serious consequences if it touches buildings of party educational institutions that have encroached on Salkam lake, he asked. Is this place in Pakistan or in Bangladesh, why is the government afraid of MIM, he asked.

The government is right when it comes to removing encroachments on lakes and tanks in the FTL and buffer zones, he said. Why demolish only one or two big constructions of influential people and then attack houses of the poor, he alleged.

Regarding sops in electricity bills to Sircilla weavers, not only the BRS but the Congress government has betrayed weavers, he said, adding it is a shame on the state government to say that it will conduct a survey pertaining to the crop loan waiver scheme.

Is the government diverting all the money to Maharshi Valmiki Development Corporation in Karnataka. The Congress is following in the footsteps of the BRS, he pointed out.

Both Congress and BRS leaders came to an understanding to merge their parties, that is why some of the Congress leaders went to Singapore and then to America where they held discussions of merger of the party, he added.
