IIT-Madras Introduces Fine Arts Excellence Course

Hyderabad: In a first, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-Madras) has introduced a fine arts and culture excellence (FACE) course in the undergraduate (UG) programmes for the academic session 2025-26.

The course aims to encourage those students who have excelled in fine arts and culture stream. Two seats under FACE have been allocated to B.Tech. and B.S. course students, pursuing their studies at IIT- Madras. One of the two seats will be allotted to a female candidate, and the other will be gender-neutral. The admission process for FACE will not be conducted through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) portal but on a separate portal (https://jeeadv.iitm.ac.in/face). This portal is maintained by IIT-Madras, where other IITs can also offer seats under FACE or participate in the admission process.
