The eight riders from the Regiment of Artillery had embarked on their journey from Dhanushkodi, Tamil Nadu, on June 12. Over 28 days, they will cover more than 4,000 kilometres. Having traversing through Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Telangana, they will head to Manali, Sarchu, and Nyoma. The Hyderabad leg of the journey saw the team being flagged in at Maitra Stadium, Bolaram, by Major General Akhilesh Kumar, General Officer Commanding, Bison Division.
