JPC on Waqf Bill to Hold Grievance Meeting in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The members of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Waqf (Amendment) Bill is holding a meeting in Hyderabad to receive grievances on the proposed Waqf 9Amendment) Bill 2024. The State government's Minority Commission is arranging this meeting, where representatives from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh including the Waqf Boards and State Minority Commissions of both states, will present their views. Stakeholders can discuss their grievances with the JPC, during the meeting.

The JPC member and Mahabubnagar MP Aruna asked people to submit their grievances of land disputes and opinions on the proposed amendments to Waqf Act . People who already sent their grievances through emails and letters can also meet the members of JPC, she said.
