Karthika Pournami celebrated in Nizamabad

NIZAMABAD: Karthika Pournami was celebrated with pomp and gaiety on Friday, drawing thousands of devotees to temples in the early hours. The Neela Kanteshwar temple witnessed massive crowds as devotees lit Koti and Laksha deepams within its premises. The celestial wedding of Tulasi was also observed in many households. Temple committees made elaborate arrangements to accommodate the influx of devotees during the auspicious occasion. Prominent temples, including the Shambhuni temple in Nizamabad, Ekachakra Mandir in Bodhan, and Siddi Rameshwar temple in Bhiknoor, Kamareddy district, also saw big gatherings.
