Kishan Objects to Congress Ad Campaign on Modi's Grants to TG
Hyderabad: BJP Telangana president G. Kishan Reddy accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of orchestrating a deceitful campaign against the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. In an open letter addressed to Revanth Reddy, Kishan Reddy detailed instances of the Congress party's attempts to mislead the people of Telangana through its manifesto and advertisements.
Kishan Reddy questioned why Revanth Reddy did not advocate for the empowerment of panchayats and raised concerns about the transfer of funds from Central government accounts to state government accounts. He highlighted the popularity of the 'PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana', which was included in the Congress manifesto despite being a programme initiated by Narendra Modi.
Regarding the Sammakka Saralamma Medaram Jathara, Kishan Reddy criticised the Congress for seeking national status for the festival despite receiving financial support from the Modi government. He also refuted the Congress' claims about projects such as the Hyderabad Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR), the Railway Coach Factory at Kazipet, and the establishment of various educational institutions.
Kishan Reddy also disputed the Congress stand on establishing new Sainik schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, rapid rail transit system running adjacent to the Hyderabad - Vijayawada National Highway, establishment of new Airports in Telangana and a National Aviation University.
Kishan Reddy said that instead of focusing on fulfilling their promises, the Congress is spreading false information and taking credit for initiatives undertaken by the Modi government. He concluded his six-page letter by urging the Chief Minister to prioritise the implementation of the six guarantees rather than engaging in misleading campaigns.
