KPHB Resident Killed in Hit-and-Run by Rash Biker, Arrest Made

HYDERABAD: A 60-year-old resident of KPHB Colony, died after being hit by a bike allegedly being driven in a rash and negligent manner, KPHB police said on Saturday. Police said the victim, Katta Narasimha Murthy, had stepped out of his house to have tea.

As he was crossing the road at the 4th phase flyover, one Surendra, who was heading from KPHB to Hitec City, on his bike rammed into Murthy, who died on the spot.

Locals informed the victim’s son Katta Nagaraju, 35, who lodged a police complaint. A case was registered under the BNS and Surendra was arrested.
