Hyderabad: Bharat Rastra Samithi (BRS) Working President KT Rama Rao said that Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project is the permanent solution for Telangana's drought.

Rama Rao highlighted that the Kaleshwaram project stands as a transformative project, significantly mitigating water scarcity in Telangana.
He said the BRS can withstand such political machinations and criticism to grow further.
KTR said that the Kaleshwaram initiative has been instrumental in the resurgence of the Sri Ram Sagar and Nizam Sagar projects. He noted that both projects are now filled to the brim.
Hailing the project as a historic accomplishment, the BRS working president said the Kaleshwaram project has resolved the long-standing battle for water rights from the Godavari River.
"It's not just a barrage, it's a solution to the water woes in Telangana," he added.
KT Rama Rao also stated that errors in such large projects were natural, and they can be fixed
