KUDA chief lodges FIR against Sena MLA for slur on Rahul

Warangal: The chairman of the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA), Enagala Venkatram Reddy, on Wednesday lodged a complaint against Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad for making derogatory comments against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi here at Hanamkonda police station.


Venkatram Reddy said the family of Rahul Gandhi right from Indira Gandhi to Rajiv Gandhi sacrificed their lives for the country. Instead of noticing their services, insulting them with derogatory comments is not tolerable.

Apart from that Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad announced that he would give a reward of Rs 11 lakh for anyone who will cut the tongue of the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha.

They are not able to digest the popularity Rahul Gandhi is getting among various sections of people, especially among the SC, ST, OBC and minority people. That is why they are targeting him and are trying to malign his image.

He urged the police to register the case and take immediate action as per law against the Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad.

The Congress party state legal cell joint secretary P. Karthik, members D. Achyut Kumar, Ch. Arun and Kumar were present along with others.
