Magisterial probe ordered into remand prisoner’s death in Hyderabad central prison

Hyderabad: Special Executive Magistrate Hyderabad, K Jyothi, will conduct a magisterial inquiry into the death of a remand prisoner Mudavath Raju while in custody in Central Prison, Hyderabad.

Thirty-six-year-old Raju died while undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital while in custody of Central Prison, Hyderabad. Hyderabad Collector and District Magistrate Anudeep Durishetty appointed the Special Executive Magistrate, K Jyothi, to hold the magisterial inquiry into the death of Raju.

It is brought to the notice of the general public that any person, blood relatives of the deceased who is interested, who knows and witnessed the incident may depose their evidence before the Special Executive Magistrate, Hyderabad at his office at the Collectorate, Hyderabad District, Lakdi-ka- Pool in Khairatabad on July 22, 2024 between 11 am and 5 pm.
