Major General Ajay Misra Takes Charge as GOC of TASA

Hyderabad: Major General Ajay Misra has assumed charge as General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA), here. Maj. Gen. Misra pledged to build on the accomplishments of his predecessors, strengthen TASA's operational readiness, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
Maj. Gen. Misra has commanded a brigade on the Line of Actual Control (LAC)
and has held multiple instructional roles within the tri-services environment. He has twice been awarded the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card.

Commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery in 1992, he has completed
courses at the Defence Services Staff College in Wellington, the Army War
College in Mhow, and the National Defence College in New Delhi.
