Mala Leaders Meet CM Revanth, Seek Justice

 Hyderabad: Representatives of the Mala community, along with the leaders of Mala Mahanadu, met Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday to discuss arising out of a Supreme Court judgment on the classification of Schedule Castes.

The delegation included MP Gaddam Vamsi, MLAs Gaddam Vivek, Matta Ragamai, Vamsikrishna, Nagaraju, and prominent leaders from Mala Mahanadu. During the meeting, the leaders expressed their concerns over potential injustice to the Mala community emerging out of the categorisation of the Scheduled Castes (SC) community for reservations for education and employment.

They urged the Chief Minister to ensure that no injustice would be done to the Mala community during the SC classification process and stressed the importance of following court directives to ensure proper justice for both the Mala and Madiga communities.

In response, Revanth Reddy assured them that a committee would be appointed to thoroughly examine the issues raised. He pledged that justice would be ensured for all parties.
