Man Arrested for Duping Public By Posing as Transport Inspector

Hyderabad: The Uppal police arrested one Prem Reddy for posing as a transport inspector and extorting money from motorists. Police said Prem Reddy had stopped a few motorists and began demanding money from them in Uppal. On suspicion, they informed the police that Prem Reddy was using a fake identity to intimidate the public. Police booked a case and began investigations, leading to the arrest of Prem Reddy.

Case Booked Against Man For Abusing Anchor

Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills booked a case against a man for abusing a 30-year-old anchor in foul langague. Police said the accused, Harish, and the anchor knew each other for about five years. Harish married another girl last year, and the victim kept away, police said.

However, for the past few days, Harish had been harassing the victim by calling her on the phone and recently reportedly went to her work place used abusive language and obscene gestures. Based on the victim’s complaint, Jubilee Hills police registered a case and looking to arrest the accused.
