MANUU to Launch New Courses for Women

In his address, Prof. Ainul Hassan mentioned the success of the evening college, which launched this academic session at Manu Model School, Hyderabad.

HYDERABAD: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) will introduce new courses for women at Urdu Hall, Himayat Nagar, starting next academic year. This initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasises that educational institutions must actively reach out to students rather than wait for them.

Prof. Syed Ainul Hassan, vice-chancellor of MANUU, made this announcement during the inaugural session of a seminar titled ‘Urdu University se Taleem Meri Kamiyabi Ka Raaz’. The event was organised by the Dean Alumni Affairs and MANUU Alumni Association.

In his address, Prof. Ainul Hassan mentioned the success of the evening college, which launched this academic session at Manu Model School, Hyderabad. He encouraged alumni to strengthen ties with the Urdu-speaking community. He said that through discussion we will be aware of each other's views, and common interests.

The vice-chancellor assured alumni of the university’s support for their initiatives, stating that their success would ultimately benefit current students and the institution as a whole. He also distributed certificates to participants during the session.

Prof. Syed Najamul Hasan, coordinator of Dean Alumni Affairs, delivered the opening remarks, while Dr Mohd. Mustafa Ali, Associate Professor of MCJ, welcomed attendees and convened the programme. Aijaz Ali Quraishi, President of the MANUU Alumni Association, concluded the event with a vote of thanks. Prominent alumni presented papers during the seminar too.
