Maud chief calls for early clearance of bulding applications
Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development (Maud) principal secretary M. Dana Kishore has instructed town planning officials to accelerate processing of applications seeking permission for construction of buildings under the TG-bPASS (Telangana Building Permission Approval and Self-Verification System) online approval system. During a review meeting here on Thursday, Kishore stressed the importance of adhering to the stipulated time frame for granting layout and building construction permits.
He urged officials to ensure speedy disposal of TG-bPASS applications, stressing that if any required documents were missing, the applicants must be informed promptly so that they could resubmit their applications with all necessary attachments. This will help streamline the process and avoid unnecessary delays, he said.
Kishore sought to know the progress of TG-bPASS applications submitted to HMDA and GHMC this year. He said that there would be a weekly review every Saturday to assess the progress of TG-bPASS applications in order to ensure their timely clearances.
The meeting was attended by DTCO S. Devender Reddy, HMDA planning directors K. Vidyadhar and Rajendra Prasad Naik and GHMC chief city planner K. Srinivas and other officials.
