Minister Jupally Seeks Spain’s Support To Boost Telangana’s Tourism
Hyderabad: Tourism minister Jupally Krishna Rao has requested Spain’s ambassador Juan Antonio Marso Pujol to extend support for the state’s tourism sector. He said Telangana was focusing on developing world-class infrastructure to showcase the state’s rich history, culture, and heritage.
At a meeting at the Secretariat, Rao told Pujol of the state’s plans to promote tourism and preserve heritage by focusing on theme-based circuits in collaboration with different countries. He also mentioned the potential to attract more foreign tourists with the proposed Fourth City.
Ambassador Pujol highlighted the positive factors of biodiversity and lifestyle connected with nature for the development of tourism in India. He invited Rao to visit Spain, known as a paradise for tourists. Prakash Reddy, managing director, Tourism Development Corporation, participated in this meeting.
