Hyderabad: An art show by Myanmarese artists in Hyderabad showcased the neighbouring country’s rich cultural heritage and shimmering pagodas, bringing to life profound emotions on the canvas.

This exhibition — "Voices from the Golden Land" at Kalakriti Art Gallery — aims to amplify the often-unheard voices of Myanmar through the universal language of art.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Ivy Lin, the curator of Kalakriti Art Gallery, said: “I just wanted people to know Myanmar’s stories. People should know what is happening in Myanmar. The only way that can be conveyed is by universal language art.”

“Each art has a unique story, but one thing common among all of these artists is that they are kind of expressing their way of revolting to their current geopolitical scenarios in Myanmar and all of them are masterpieces in their own way,” said Sourav Raj, a visitor.

A journey through the perspectives of four distinguished artists Kyaw Htay, S Moe Z, Win Zin, and Nay Hlaing Win, who are renowned both locally and internationally, captures the essence of Myanmar's spirit through both challenging times and serene moments.
