Nalgonda Cops Use Sniffer Dogs to Detect NDPS drugs During Nakabandi Program

Hyderabad: To make Nalgonda district crime free, every police officer right from the ground level should stay alert and work hard, said district SP Sharat Chandra Pawar during 'nakabandi program'.

Nalgonda district police on the instruction of Sarath Chandra Pawar, conducted 'nakabandi' on the identified spots during nights to prevent and control crime.
The cops seized 53 vehicles for driving without number plates. The seized vehicles include six cars, two auto rickshaws and 44 two wheelers.
Cops detained minors and registered cases against the vehicle owners and their parents for allowing them to drive, Sharat Pawar said.
Apart from that, 54 drunk drivers and persons consuming liquor in public places were caught.
The first timers found consuming liquor on public places were counseled at one town police station by the SHO Rajasekhar Reddy and two town police station SHO Daniel.
The persons detained will be registered online and warned that if found guilty of the same crime again, they will be sent to jail, Sharat said.
Also, while conducting vehicle checking, cannabis and other prohibited substances will be checked with a sniper dog, said Sharat.
