New Heads Appointed for Education and Agriculture Commissions
Hyderabad: The state government on Friday appointed chairpersons for the newly-constituted commissions on education and agriculture and farmers welfare, and constituted the Backward Classes Commission with a chairman and three members.
Veteran Congress leader and former MLA M. Kodanda Reddy has been appointed chairman of the Telangana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Commission for two years.
Retired IAS officer Akunuri Murali was appointed chairman of the Telangana Education Commission for two years.
TPCC senior vice-president G. Niranjan will head the Telangana Commission for Backward Classes and Rapolu Jayaprakash, Tirumalagiri Surender and Balalakshmi were appointed as members.
