Nizamabad: Teacher Thrashed for Misbehavior with Student

Nizamabad: A government school teacher was beaten up by the locals of Mudakpally village in Mopal mandal on Thursday for allegedly misbehaving with a girl student. The teacher, who was working at Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) in Mudakpally had allegedly sent abusive messages to a Class X student on WhatsApp. He also made phone calls to her at night time and harassed her.

The victim informed her parents about the misbehavior of the teacher. Her relatives and others came to the school on Thursday and thrashed the teacher by showing him the screenshots of WhatsApp messages sent by him to the student. It was learnt that the accused teacher tendered an apology to them and pleaded with them not to file a complaint with the police. On the other hand, Mopal police were inquiring into the incident.
