Nizamabad Worker dies after falling off garbage collection vehicle

Nizamabad: A woman sanitation worker of Nizamabad Municipal Corporation died after she fell off the garbage collection vehicle on Thursday.

The incident occurred when the worker, Jyothi, 50, who was reportedly sitting beside the driver, accidentally fell from the garbage collection tractor near Quilla graveyard. She died on the spot due to a severe head injury.

The body was shifted to Government General Hospital in Nizamabad for post-mortem. Police registered a case and are investigating.

It was suspected that rash driving by the tractor might be the reason for the incident.
