NMDC Achieves Historic October Performance, Sets New Records
Hyderabad: The National Mineral Development Corporation, India's largest iron ore producer, registered its best-ever October performance since inception, according to a statement. It produced 4.07 million tonnes (MT) and achieved sales of 4.03 MT of iron ore, 3.8 per cent and 17.15 per cent over the corresponding month last year. NMDC's cumulative figures for FY25 now stood at 21.55 MT production and 23.84 MT sales, the statement said.
Amitava Mukherjee, CMD (additional charge), attributed NMDC's performance to the unwavering commitment and strategic decisions, technology advancements, and long-term focus. “We continuously assess our performance, and with this momentum, we're confident of surpassing our best this fiscal," he said.
