No benefit shows or ticket price hike, says Komatireddy

Hyderabad: In the wake of the Sandhya Theatre stampede, the state government has announced financial aid for the victim's family. Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy disclosed that he will provide Rs 25 lakh to support the family from their Pratheek Foundation.
He further stated that there would be no "benefit shows" for movies in the state and that the government would not permit any increase in ticket prices.
The minister also remarked that actor Allu Arjun had failed to fulfil his promise of aiding the affected family. Komatireddy assured that the government would cover all medical expenses for Sri Tej, the injured boy from the incident.
