Hyderabad: In the 2015 cash-for-vote case, Chief Minister's adviser Vem Narender Reddy’s son Krishna Keertan did not get relief in the High Court to quash the summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) special court.

The ED had filed a chargesheet in the special court in Nampally in 2021. The ED court issued a summons to the accused on August 9, 2021, asking them to appear for the hearing. Keertan filed a petition in the High Court challenging these summons.

Judge Justice K. Lakshman on Friday ruled that the summons issued by the ED court cannot be dismissed and that the petitioner must answer the summons.
