One Dead, Another Injured in Gachibowli Road Accident

Hyderabad:One person died and another person was severely injured in a road accident near a convention hall, within the Gachibowli police station limits on Saturday morning.

Gachibowli police identified the deceased as Challa Lohith, 24, and the injured as Ravipudi Sai Mahesh Babu, 24. The complainant was the victim’s brother Navneeth, 26.

Lohith and Mahesh were reportedly going on a two-wheeler when a tipper lorry, reportedly being driven in a rash and negligent manner, hit the bike, leading to Lohith dying on the spot, and Mahesh getting injured.

Following a call by locals who gathered on the spot to the complainant, Mahesh was shifted to a hospital in the city and Lohith’s body was shifted to the mortuary for postmortem examination.

A case was registered and further investigation is underway.
