Paliar Left Canal Water Release Today: Tummala

Khammam:Agriculture minister Tummala Nageswara Rao directed instructed the irrigation department officials to repair the breach to the Palair balancing reservoir left canal and release water by Tuesday evening. He, along with Khammam district collector Muzammil Khan, inspected the repair works of the left canal at Kusumanchi on Monday.

The minister said repairing the breach and releasing water to 20,000 acres that are under the canal ayacut was very important. He instructed the officials to speed up the repair works and release water to the left canal by Tuesday evening. Irrigation chief engineer Vidya Sagar and executive engineer Ananya were also present.
