Hyderabad: The West Zone Task Force along with Banjara Hills police arrested a peddler, two consumers, and seized two kg ganja and other incriminating materials from his possession.

The accused S. Prem Kumar, 21, who works as animator, is a resident of Indiranagar. “He was found selling ganja to consumers near his house,” E. Jangaiah, inspector of the task force, said.
During investigation Prem Kumar confessed to the police that due to insufficient income, he procured ganja from his known man Shankar, a native of Narsipatnam in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Jangaiah said quoting the accused.
The accused was also wanted in a case under (crime number 1075 of 2020) registered with the Narsipatnam town police station, Visakhapatnam.
Besides, two kg of ganja, a two-wheeler, three mobile phones, and packing materials were recovered from the accused, stated the press release issued by Y.V. Sudheendra, DCP task force, on Wednesday.
