Police Crack Warangal Murder, Four Arrested

 Warangal: Police cracked the sensational murder of a former sarpanch in erstwhile Warangal district and nabbed four members of a supari gang that planned and executed the killing.

Speaking to media, ACP Ambati Narasaiah said Sudula Devander, 50, was brutally murdered in his residence at Bairanpally village in Rayparthy mandal on July 7.

His neighbours Palle Murali and his father Mallesham had a land dispute with Devander and they gave a supari of Rs 30 lakh to a Hyderabad gang to execute the murder.

The gang included Sunkara Prasad Reddy, Marneni Raju, Karnolla Krishtaiah and Palle Mukeshdal.

Earlier, the police arrested Palle Murali and his father Mallesham suspecting their involvement in the murder. Later, they found about the supari gang and arrested the gang members.
