President, PM and Rahul Extend TG Formation Day Greetings
Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi extended greetings to the people of Telangana on the occasion of the decennial celebrations of state’s formation on Sunday.
In a post on X, Murmu said, "Warm greetings to all citizens, especially to the people of Telangana on Statehood Day! Telangana is endowed with a rich heritage,composite culture and enterprising people (sic)."
Stating that Telangana has emerged as a major information technology hub of the country, Murmu said, “I pray that Telangana and its people continue to prosper and contribute to the nation's development.”
In a X post in Telugu, Modi said, "Best wishes to my sisters and brothers of Telangana on their statehood day. Every Indian takes great pride in the state’s contribution to national progress."
Stating that the state is blessed with a rich history and a very vibrant culture, Modi added “We remain committed to continuously working for the state’s growth in the times to come."
Rahul Gandhi said that Congress remains committed to the vision of 'Prajala Telangana' - justice, equality, and empowerment for all.
In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi said, “Ten years ago, under Dr. Manmohan Singh and Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Telangana became India's youngest state, shaping the aspirations of millions. My tributes to those who sacrificed for the Telangana Movement (sic).
