Hyderabad: Health minister C. Damodar Rajanarasimha, along with local legislators, inspected the progress of the construction of the 1,225-bed super specialty hospital in Mahbubnagar. He directed officials to ensure completion of all works by December.

He assured the legislators of the government's commitment to providing quality medical care by recruiting skilled professionals and improving healthcare infrastructure. Rajanarasimha said that jobs will be provided to around 600 people in the hospital.

"Medical treatment should be accessible to the poor without difficulties. The common man should think that sarkari davakhana is mine," the minister said.

He added that in the next four years, the focus will be on the economic and social development of Mahbubnagar.

Minister Jupally Krishna Rao also participated. They said that the priority areas were irrigation, health, education, tourism, women's associations, and other key aspects.
