Rachakonda Police Arrest Two for Matrimonial Fraud, Duping Victims of ₹33.7 Lakh

Hyderabad: Rachakonda police arrested Komali Surya Prakash and Setti Satish who had registered themselves on matrimonial sites with fake details and photographs of women downloaded from the Internet, to pose as women and cheat prospective suitors.
It was found that the accused had collectively cheated victims of Rs 33,68,216.
They used voice changers to sound like women, police said. They would start a conversation and develop an emotional bond with the suitors. Once they gained the confidence of the suitors, the duo asked them to transfer money citing various reasons like health and fees.
