Raj Tarun seeks anticipatory bail

Hyderabad: Film actor Raj Tarun approached the Telangana High Court on Thursday, seeking anticipatory bail in the cheating and intimidation cases registered against him by his ex-girlfriend.

According to a complaint filed with the Narsingi police, Tarun cheated on his former girlfriend, Lavanya, with an actress from Mumbai, and did not honour the promise of marriage purportedly made to Lavanya.

Tarun has denied the allegations. He submitted to court the details of Layanya's history of filing police complaints.

Justice Juvvadi Sridevi heard the plea and asked the public prosecutor to get details of the case from the police.
