Raja Singh urges police to ensure stern action against Jani Master
Hyderabad: Goshamahal BJP MLA T Raja Singh here on Thursday urged the Director-General of Police Jitender and Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty to take stern action against the choreographer Jani Basha Master in connection with sexual assault case.
The police must give similar treatment extended to a thief, robber and a murderer to bring out actual truth, he urged. In a short video released on Thursday, he requested the department to conduct a detailed probe against the choreographer to expose his misdeeds and how he harassed innocent women. He alleged Jani Master also indulged in ‘Love Jihad’.
A case was booked against Jani Master at Narsingi police station for allegedly sexually harassing a junior choreographer, who is a minor. “People in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are looking at the police as to what action they would take against Jani Master,” Raja Singh said.
During the investigation, the police officials should also focus on Jani Master’s previous history and on how many women he offered to convert.
The episode of Jani Master’s brought a black spot on the film industry. There might be more people like Jani Master exploiting those intending to work in the film industry or those working as junior artistes. He advised the film industry to enact a law to ensure that whoever attempts to conversion must barred from the industry
