Reduce Plastic Use, Urges Komatireddy RajaGopal Reddy

 Yadadri-Bhongir: Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy on Saturday emphasised the importance of treating environmental protection as a social responsibility to ensure a healthy living environment. He made these remarks while inaugurating a manufacturing unit for eco-friendly carry bags at Dandumalkapur Industrial Park in Choutuppal mandal.

Highlighting the detrimental effects of soil, air, and water pollution on public health, Reddy stated that environmental degradation is a leading cause of various diseases. He stressed that safeguarding the environment is essential for public well-being and called for collective efforts to address this issue.

The MLA also urged the public to reduce the use of plastic bags, noting their long decomposition time and harmful impact on soil, air, and water. Encouraging eco-friendly alternatives, he pointed out the urgent need for sustainable practices.

Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi and Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation chairman T. Nirmala Jagga Reddy also attended the event.
