Revanth Reddy Invites Sonia, Rahul, Priyanka for Praja Vijayotsavalu

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has extended an invitation to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress top leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to join the ‘Praja Vijayotsavalu’, starting on Thursday, to mark the commemorating the first anniversary of the party coming to power in the state.
The Congress government has planned a 26-day statewide celebration to highlight achievements and milestones from its first year in office. The Chief Minister is set to conduct special meetings with various groups. He has requested the participation of AICC leaders at different events, aligning each with their areas of focus and interest.
The main event will take place on December 9, the birthday of Sonia Gandhi, when the Chief Minister plans to unveil the Telangana Talli statue within the Secretariat. Sonia Gandhi has been invited to inaugurate the statue.
Other scheduled events include a public gathering focused on the Congress government's crop loan waiver initiative, for which the Chief Minister has invited Rahul Gandhi.
Priyanka Gandhi has also been invited to participate in an event focused on women-centric welfare programmes. AICC president Kharge has been invited to preside over meetings with members of the OBC, SC, and ST communities.
