Rights activists recall Gorrepati’s services

Nizamabad: The services of human rights activist and senior advocate Gorrepati Madhava Rao were remembered here on Saturday. A memorial meeting for Gorrepati Madhava Rao was conducted at Yellammagutta. Human Rights Forum state coordinators V.S. Krishna, Jeevan, CPI (ML) New Democracy leader Akula Papaiah, and others recalled Rao’s services.
Leaders of people’s organisations, political figures, doctors, advocates, journalists, and many others took part in the meeting. Singers from the Arunodaya organisation performed songs dedicated to Madhava Rao. Guests and attendees shared memories of Gorrepati from the past few decades and paid floral tributes to the departed leader.
