Rowdysheeter wanted in 18 cases arrested

Hyderabad: A rowdysheeter wanted in eighteen cases by the tri-commissionerate police for the past eleven months, was arrested by the special zone crime team of the CCS, detective department, on Saturday.
Accused Mohammed Ifthekar (30), who was also a cab driver, is the resident of Chandrayangutta, and was on the run after committing snatching, thefts and bodily offences. The accused was wanted by Panjagutta, Asifnagar, Saifabad, Gudimalkapur, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, and S.R. Nagar police.
Ifthekar was involved in robberies under Banjara Hills, Bahadurpura, Banjara Hills, Rajendarnagar, RGI Shamshabad and Mailardevpally police station limits. After his arrest, he was handed over to Panjagutta police for further investigation, said N. Swetha, DCP of the CCS-DD.
