Secunderabad Cantonment Board Offers Water Bill Rebate
Hyderabad: In an effort to alleviate financial burdens on residents and boost revenue collection, the Secunderabad Cantonment Board has announced a one-time settlement (OTS) scheme for clearing pending water bills. This initiative, approved during the ordinary board meeting on Friday, offers a 10 per cent rebate on the total outstanding amount for water consumers. The scheme is set to be available from November 16 to December 31.
The Board said that this initiative is aimed at encouraging consumers to clear their pending bills, thereby reducing financial strain on families and helping maintain efficient water services in the region.
Water consumers within the SCB limits have been asked to utilise this opportunity to regularise their payments at a reduced cost. According to officials, timely clearance of dues will not only benefit individual households but also strengthen the Board’s ability to invest in improving water supply infrastructure and other essential civic amenities.
Residents can of the OTS scheme by visiting designated customer service centres or through the official SCB website, where detailed guidelines and payment procedures will be provided.
