Seethakka To Flag Off ‘Bike Ambulances’ for 10 PHCs Today

 Adilabad: The state government sanctioned 'Bike Ambulances' to 10 PHCs in interior areas to reach out to patients in emergencies where 108 Ambulances can't go due to poor road connectivity in the erstwhile Adilabad district.

Minister for rural development Seethakka will flag off the ‘Bike Ambulances’ at Komaram Bheem Complex in the Utnoor on Saturday morning.

The vehicles will be allotted to PHCs of Gadiguda, Jhari, Pittabongaram, Danthanpalli, Ankoli, Kerameri, Rompalli and Ginnedhari, Bajarhathnoor and Syedpur.

It is learnt that the state government sanctioned 10 ‘Bike Ambulances’ to 10 identified PHCs in the erstwhile Adilabad district. The health assistants of the respective PHCs will ride 'Bike Ambulances' to the interior villages and provide treatment to the patients in emergencies.

‘Bike Ambulances’ are being introduced aiming to avoid delays in reaching the interior areas and to provide treatment to the patients in emergencies.
