Hyderabad: The Students' Federation of India has announced a protest on September 10 at Indira Park in Hyderabad, to press its demand for redressal of unresolved issues in the education sector. The SFI has raised concerns over the government’s alleged failure to appoint a dedicated education minister, resulting in the neglect of essential areas such as welfare hostels and Gurukuls, which are reportedly in dire condition.
The SFI also highlighted the plight of students in government universities, which it said was affected by a lack of Budget allocation for basic infrastructure and the absence of Vice Chancellors.
