Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Thursday quashed a petition filed by Syed Mohidoddin, prime accused in the alleged scam in Sheep Distribution Scheme during the BRS government.

Mohidoddin , the contractor, who allegedly bought the sheep from other states like Andhra Pradesh, approached the court that he was falsely named by Gachibowli police in the crime relating to siphoning of government money allocated for procuring sheep. He requested the court to quash the FIR filed against him.

Charges made against Mohidoddin are that he and his kin had siphoned off the money allocated by the state government for procuring sheep, without transferring the money to sheep owners in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh.

V. Ravi Kiran Rao , counsel for ACB, argued that the investigation agency had full evidence to show that they had not credited the money to the sellers and they managed to change the Aadhar numbers of the sellers. Justice K. Sujana dismissed the petition.
