Srisailam Police Rescue Woman from Suicide Attempt

Kurnool: A woman from Telangana, who attempted to die by suicide, was rescued by Srisailam police on Wednesday. Identified as Yalala Swetha from Ibrahimpatnam in Rangareddy district, she was reportedly in a dispute with her husband. Swetha travelled to Srisailam with the intent to end her life at Rudraksha Matham in the temple town.

Upon finding her unconscious, locals alerted the police, who took her to the local government hospital for treatment. After recovering, Swetha received counseling from the police. Her family members were informed, and she was handed over to them, stated circle inspector P. Prasada Rao.
