Stray Dogs Attack Children, One Man Dies in Crane Accident During Ganesh Immersion

Adilabad:A series of unfortunate incidents occurred in Nirmal district on Tuesday night during Ganesh immersion festivities.

Four children, Usha, Anvika, Bodike Omkar, and Swamy, sustained minor injuries when they were attacked by stray dogs while watching the Ganesha idols rally in Thanur mandal headquarters. The injured children were promptly taken to Bhainsa area hospital for treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.

In a separate incident, Nagesh, a 46-year-old contract employee of Kagaznagar Municipality, was tragically killed when he was struck by a crane used for Ganesha idols immersion at Peddavagu. He suffered severe leg injuries and was rushed to Karimnagar for medical attention, but unfortunately, he did not survive. Another worker, Prem, sustained minor injuries in the same accident.

Local authorities are investigating both incidents to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
