Khammam: A 16-year-old student sustained severe injuries after accidentally falling from the third floor of the hostel of a private junior college building on Wyra Road, Khammam, at about 1 am on Sunday. He was immediately taken to a private hospital for treatment, and his condition remains critical.

The incident sparked tension at the college as Lokesh's relatives and members of student unions staged a protest, accusing the college management of mishandling the situation. Protesters claimed the college failed to call for an ambulance, instead transporting in a college autorickshaw.

Police suspect the fall may have been accidental, possibly caused by dizziness. An investigation is underway.
