Telangana BJP protests against MLA insulting Kangana

Hyderabad: The BJP's Mahila Morcha workers burned an effigy of Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender on Thursday for his "sarcastic and derogatory" comments against women, film artistes and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut.

At the protest held at Exhibition Ground crossroads, Mahila Morcha activists, led by state president Dr M. Shilpa Reddy, demanded that Nagender to withdraw the comments, said to be made at a Congress event. as they hurt the sentiments of women and film artistes.

She also urged the women’s commission in Telangana to take action against Nagender.
