Telangana: Car Hits Stationary Truck From Rear, 2 Killed

 Nizamabad: Two youths were killed and another suffered serious injuries after the car they were travelling in rammed a stationary truck near Srinagar village on Nizamabad-Jannepally road on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Dandla Vamsi Krishna, 17, of Chikli village in Makloor mandal and Rajesh, 18, of Nyalkal in Nizamabad rural mandal.

According to sources, Vamsi Krishna, Rajesh and their friend Akash of Dubba in Nizamabad travelled in a car from Nizamabad to Chikli on Wednesday. While reaching Gajanan rice mill, their vehicle hit the rear of a truck that was stuck on roadside mud.

Vamsi Krishna and Rajesh died on the spot. Passersby noticed the incident and informed police. The seriously injured, Akash, was shifted to a private hospital in Nizamabad.

The bodies were shifted for post-mortem to Government General Hospital in Nizamabad. Police suspect high speed may be the reason for the accident.
