Telangana: Child Rights Should be Protected, Says Judge

Nizamabad: District Judge Sunitha Kunchala emphasised the importance of protecting children's rights, urging everyone to be aware of these fundamental rights. Speaking at the conclusion of Child Rights Week on Wednesday in Nizamabad, she highlighted the need for strong measures to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Judge Kunchala stressed that children must be provided with their essential rights, including the right to live, recognition, development, education, and entertainment. She also called for strict prevention of child labor and illegal child trafficking.

The meeting was attended by women commission member Sudam Laxmi, district welfare officer Sheik Rasool Bi, DLSA secretary Padmavathi, additional DCP G. Baswa Reddy, Siddaiah, and other officials.
