Telangana Congress Leaders Woo Telugu Voters in Maharashtra

Adilabad: Telangana Congress leaders, including minister for rural development Seethakka; MPs Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy and Mallu Ravi; MLAs; and Girijan Cooperative Finance Development Corporation chairman Kotnak Thirupati, have been campaigning for the party candidates in the Assembly elections in Maharashtra.

The Congress leaders of Telangana have intensified the campaign as November 18 is the last date for campaigning, and elections will be held on November 20. The Telangana leaders are campaigning in Assembly segments where the Telugu people and adivasi population are significant.

Seethakka is campaigning for party candidates in the Nandurbar, Akkalkuwa, Sakri, Navapur, and Shahada Assembly seats in Maharashtra.

Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will address public meetings in Nandurbar and Nanded on November 14. Senior Congress leader Mohd Ali Shabbir is monitoring the meeting in Nanded.

Congress leaders Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy of Bhuvanagiri, Mallu Ravi of Nagarkurnool, and Kata Megha Reddy of Wanaparthy, along with AICC’s SC, ST, and OBC departments’ coordinator Koppula Raju, have been campaigning in Yavatmal, Chandrapur, and Gadchiroli districts in Maharashtra.

Congress leaders are also campaigning for party candidate Jithender Shivaji Moghe from the Arni Assembly seat. He is the son of AICC’s adivasi cell national chairman Shivajirao Moghe.

Congress leaders, including Boath Assembly in-charge Ade Gajender and senior leader Naresh Jadhav, campaigned for the party candidates in Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, BJP leaders Payal Shankar and Adilabad MP Godam Nagesh are campaigning for their party candidates in Chandrapur district.
